As of June 14, there are a little more than 100 Requests for an Invitation to Run in the 2016 race, which is about the same pace as was received in the past couple of years. This means that as of June 14, one’s chances of getting an Entry into the race are about 1 in 2 or so. It’s expected that the final count will approach 200 Requests (last year was 177), so one’s chances to gain an Entry into the race will end up being about 1 in 3 (33%) to 1 in 4 (25%).
Requests for an Invitation to Run in the 2016 Ancient Oaks 100-Mile Endurance Run will be taken beginning June 1, 2016 and will continue to be accepted until June 30, 2016. At that time, the Window will close and no further Requests for an Invitation to Run will be accepted. The 2016 Entry List and Wait List will be published on or before July 4, 2016.
If you would like further information about how to get an Invitation to Run in the race, please read the ‘How to Request an Invitation to Run’ page as well as the ‘Entry Selection Process’ page.
